Riparian (Coastal-aquatic) vegetation is one of the most common plant types that determine the appearance of the floodplain. It usually does not occupy large areas, occupying the shores of water bodies. There is a second stage of overgrowth of wet sands, which occupy an elevated position above the water, but are periodically flooded.
