In this section we discuss the major threat to the existence of the Kyiv Dnieper floodplain as a complete natural, historical and cultural complex. This is risk of secondary radionuclide contamination, sewage pollution, chaotic development, littering and so on. A clear delineation of negative trends will outline ways to neutralize them.
