Local lore study of Kyiv suburbs is much inferior to the study of the central historical parts of the city: Starokyivska part, Podil, Pechersk, etc., which from the very birth of the city were at the epicenter of historical events and appeared on the pages of written sources. The Kyiv suburbs, on the other hand, were usually mentioned only in connection with certain historical events. Their entire history has begun to be reconstructed relatively recently. Despite its resounding fame, the historical path of Kyiv Bald Mountain remained virtually unexplored.
