Kyiv imperial yacht club on Trukhanov Island in 1887-1917

In 1887 on the Trukhaniv island to the north of the steamship workshops yacht club was based. In Kiev diverse recreation on the water started to gain popularity in the second half of the 1880s. For the first time the idea of the yacht club was expressed by Kyiv, Podolsk and Volyn Governor-General Duke A. Dondukov-Korsakov. However, it was implemented only by his successor, General of Infantry OR Drenteln. This section represent detail history of Kyiv Imperial Yacht Club.
