The new center of the exensive iron industry in the cental Ukraine

Article is devoted to the results of the field and laboratore investigations of the site of the ancient iron production of the Ist quarter of the Ist millenium A. D., which was excavated near village Pidvysoke of the Kirovograd region. After the materials of the excavation were reconstructed metallurgical furnaces, determined their productivity and chemical elements of the slags which were received during the excavation of the centre, their comparative description with the slags from the similar monuments of the ancient iron industry which were investigated in the Ukrainian Trans-Carpathia, Zhitomir region and Uman.
